Dividend information about Indian securities is scattered across two exchanges that disagree with each other, buried in filings, and usually presented without the one thing that makes it usable: whether the number has been restated for a later split.

A payout of ₹10 declared before a 1:10 split is not comparable with ₹10 declared after it. Charts that ignore this show a tenfold cliff and read it as a dividend cut. AllPaisa restates history before comparing it, and lets you switch back to what was actually filed.

Corporate-action filings are collected from NSE and BSE, stored untouched before parsing, and reconciled against each other. Where both exchanges report the same event it is stored once, with both named as sources.

Nothing is published until it passes validation on date ordering and on amount plausibility against the instrument's own history and share price. Rows that fail are held back for review rather than shown with a warning — on a site about being right, a wrong number with an asterisk is still a wrong number.

REIT and InvIT distributions carry their component split — interest, dividend, rental, capital repayment — because those components are taxed differently and the headline figure alone is misleading.

Where a number cannot be sourced, it is left blank and the methodology page says why, rather than being estimated into existence.
